UK Based Ghanaian Gospel Musician Minister Sonnie Badu has promised to sponsor former Hip Life Artiste Isaac Okai known as Yaw Siki who recently disclosed in an interview with Joy New’s Mz Gee that he lives on preaching after surviving a gory accident in 2013.



The 2014 BEFTTA Best Gospel Act took to the video sharing blog Instagram to announce his decision “ I would like to meet the young man who has moved from being a secular artist to a preacher on the bus…



“I would like our ministry to sponsor him for a few next years..it will not be easy with the decision you have made as there will be long suffering, however, we are here to let you know that you made the right decision ..#YawSiki”

Outspoken Ghanaian actor and TV presenter, Leo Mensah popularly known as Ntoatoahene has called Founder and leader of International Godsway Ministries, Bishop Daniel Obinim an attention seeker who wants to ride on controversies to rip innocent Ghanaians off their money.

The host of Ntoatoa TV show on Gh One TV in a Facebook post following the man of God’ s claim that he can turn into an animal in the spiritual world said Obinim made those comments to get his name on the lips of Ghanaians.

He described Bishop Obinim as a stupid person. He continued that God knows the Bishop is a moron.

According to the peeved TV host, the husband of gospel musician Florence Obinim is an “idiot” who is using the Holy Bible to deceive the world.

He also blamed Ghanaians for allowing people to deceive them without researching to know the truth in the bible.

#HaveUheard Sista Afia quit Nursing in Uk to do musicin Ghana?

Twenty-four-year-old songstress Sista Afia has said she abandoned her nursing career in the United Kingdom (UK) and came to Ghana to pursue a music career.


“I grew up in Accra and Kumasi. I went to Reverend John Teye Memorial Institute and also Angel Educational Complex before relocating to the UK. They dragged me to the UK by force. I was 15 then and I did my high school and university in the UK. I read Nursing but I came to Ghana because of music. That is how serious I am about my music career,” she said.



“The first thing I have in mind is to link up with my country. When I was a kid, I wanted to sing in Ghana. I wanted to be someone who can inspire other people. I just wanted to be in Ghana. Hopefully when things go well, I can go back,” she added.



“I am just a regular girl who likes to sing and do something with my music career. I love music. That’s all I can say,” she also said.

 
Afia started singing at church programmes and wedding ceremonies while in London. That caught the attention of her manager who later introduced her to Bisa Kdei who has since been helping her.



“I met Bisa Kdei through my manager and he is a lovely guy. We are just friends. We are cool and we care for each other. Nothing really; we are just working together basically. I have nothing amorously going on with him. We just care for each other; we care as far as caring could reach. He helps me out musically. He produced my songs and did the beats,” she said, dispelling rumours that she is dating Kdei.



Currently, Afia has two highlife singles titled Krokro No and Are You Ready, which was released on February 1. She hopes to drop an album sometime soon.

Multi-Talented Rapper Flowking Stone, the other half of Award winning duo BRADEZ has hinted the group is now ready to bounce back this year following the release of a single resurrection.

FlowKing Stone said, he had to hold the forte when tragedy struck and to the best of his abilities he's down well and it's evident for all to see.

“Kunta is now doing well and we are introducing him little by little else it might not work, so resurrection is the first of many to come from us this year”, FlowKing Stone disclosed.

The rapper who has been on a solo project for sometime, now said, there were a lot of back bitting from industry people, who believed he was not going to do well, but with hard work, dedication n determination, everything went well and now Kunta is back.

Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has been accused by Marouff Kamara of defrauding him. According to the man who lives in Sweden, he has sent money to the actress on several occasions, but the actress who promised to pay back the loan is proving stubborn. He says Yvonne Nelson is not willing to pay the loan granted her.

Mr. Kamara has produced receipts of all money sent to the former Miss Ghana contestant but from the looks, the money was sent to wrong person. He disclosed that the initial amount of money was sent to the actress but the subsequent ones were sent to one Stella Osavuwa in Nigerian who Yvonne introduced as her secretary.

On how he met the actress, he revealed that a Nigerian living in Lagos who introduced himself as the actress’ manager recommended Yvonne Nelson to him as a good woman who will return the loan. He said he has been in contact with the actress for a very long time which made him trust her and subsequently sent her money on several occasions. He further stated that he met the actress in London sometime past.



Yvonne Nelson refused to react to the accusation by Marouff Kamara  . She said a case like this has happened several times so it will be better if she keeps mute on it.

Ace Ghanaians Broadcaster Kofi Okyere Darko popularly known as K.O.D has expressed his indignation following a mega crusade by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome on February 5th 2016 at the Black Stars Square.


The fashion icon jumped on his social media page (facebook) to show his anger yesterday, February 5th as thousands of people have converged at the Black Stars Square in wait of the mega crusade by Pastor Chris.


He made a strange comment as to whether Ghanaians think only God can solve their problems or a Minister.


According to him, he is wondering whether the location of the event is full due to the high unemployment or probably people don’t know what to do with their time.


He made this statement when he received a call from his daughters’ school. The school had to close earlier than the normal closing time due to the Crusade.


"Some of us have lost faith in saying a prayer for ourselves and believing God would listen … What makes another mortal’s prayer better than yours? Just my thoughts. .. And I had a call from my daughter’s school to pick her up early because of the Crusade. Really?”


The Ghana Police temporarily closed down some major roads in Accra due to the major crusade in Accra by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.
