#HaveUheard Kwame Dzokoto Donates To Takwa Prison?

 

 

Comedian and showbiz icon, Seth Kwame Dzokoto, has donated  food and non-food items to inmates of Tarkwa local prison in the Western Region.


The list include toiletries, boxes of water, soft drinks, bags of rice and among others. The donation was to celebrate his birthday with inmates in his constituency.


He posted on his social media page, Facebook, “It was my birthday yesterday and I celebrated it with the inmates of Tarkwa Prisons. Let’s keep visiting them, I had a great experience for seeing their condition and plight. I say thanks for all the compliments from you, I felt proud for the care. #givingbacktothe society”


Mr Dzokoto was elected as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency, ahead of the 2016 general elections.


The Actor cum host of ‘Edziban’, a popular television show that mainly promotes Ghanaian cuisine, went into the competition against one Thomas Okyere, who managed to poll 398 votes, against Dzokoto’s 1,450 votes. Click ‘Photos’ to see more pictures.

#HaveU Heard Wutah Afriyie Says They Are Not Coming Back As A Group?

 

Wutah which  is a reggae/hiplife duo comprising Wutah Kobby and Afriyie, 
 were  first formed when they collaborated to perform at Wesley Grammar Secondary School in Accra some years ago, has made it  clear that they are not coming together soon as speculated.

After a news broke about their coming back,    Kobby said he is aware of this false information and sounds funny to him. He further hinted that, his brother Wutah Afryie has been on TV making noise about them working which he got to know after he( Afriyie) broke the news in public.
  
"Afriyie personally called me(Kobby) for a re union which i agreed and made all effort to make this possible but yield no result" stated Kobby.

   Wutah Afriyie on the other hand said, they broke up because things were not working as it is supposed to be and feels they have been local champions for long.  "we  never made any conclusion after several meetings and Kobby  told me i   want things for my selfish interest after i made a call for a remix of 'kutu sa' and i don't see us working together.

#Have Uheard Fritz Baffour Said Some Ghanaian Movies Are Low Budgeted?

Member of parliament for Ablekuma South Constituency in the Greater Accra Region and former actor, Fritz Frederic Baffuor has stated that some of the Ghanaian movies are low budgeted.

  The former actor said he does not watch Ghanaian movies that much but he knows some actors to be doing their best when given the right vehicle.

"I don't watch Ghanaian movies that much. I am an old fashion. I am a child of the 50s. I love Cobwebs movies and things like that. However I watch quite a number of them talking about Ekow Smith Asante, John Dumelo, all those guys are good. If you give them the right vehicle, they are capable. I have acted in six movies so far.

Films are about money. You've got to invest. Some of the movies are of low budget and it's like hit and miss. That's why you have to look at the private enterprise and be able to convince them to invest."

Hon. Fritz Baffuor was formally in the entertainment industry before joining politics in the year 2012 on the ticket of the NDC in the Ablekuma South Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

#HaveUheard Obinim Said No One Can Take Away his Gift Given to Him By God?

Bishop Daniel Obinim who for sometime now has received lots of backlash from the public has said that man cannot take away the gift God has given him.



This was revealed by General manager of Obinim TV (OB TV), Samuel Owusu-Asare in an interview with Akwasi Aboagye on Peace Fm. He said, what the NCA did by taking down OB TV from the screens will not affect the Bishop, as Obinim himself said he should tell the public that it’s only God who can take away his gift from him but not man.


Quizzed on whether Obinim has in any way been affected by the action taken by the NCA, he said, “oo no, he was not the least moved. It’s not in anyway affecting the Bishop, it’s affecting only us, the employees.


He continued, “Obinim said I should tell the public that, ‘the day any man will take away the gift God gave him, he will place his hand on his head and cry’ to the maximum.”


On whether the Bishop will go to court over this issue, he said, “oo no, we won’t go to court over the matter… we are just begging NCA to hurry up and process our license so that we can be back on air.” He said.

Ghanaian comedian, DKB has said rumours of his girlfriend parting ways with him as result of an ‘expensive’ April fool prank on Friday are untrue. According to him their relationship is intact.

The ex-BBA star on April Fool’s Day proposed marriage to Ghone TV presenter, AJ Sarpong in a live television broadcast and presented her with an emerald ring.
She accepted his proposal and amidst tears of joy, gave him a kiss.

DKB crowned it all by posting pictures of them on his social media with the caption “she said yes! Glad we made it public now. I love you very much. Oya chop kiss. Social network went buzzing with adorable congratulatory messages with a few doubtful ones.

But DKB returned  to say's it was all April fool prank.

“I want to thank Ghanaians and the general public for believing and trusting that I’m capable of showing a soft side via proposing to AJ on live TV, I’m really over whelmed by the love from your messages and best wishes.

‘‘To be honest, with the affable response I have received, I deeply wish it was true. Once again I am really grateful for the love and support from my fans plus apologies to does who will be disappointed with this news, don’t worry it’s all fun #Vimyaazo, he added.
