Fast rising
hip-life artiste Donzy who together with Kofi Kinaata has released the hit
single titled “Crusade”, says they both had to fast and pray before the song
was released.
Donzy says they
needed God to help make people understand the creativity behind the song as
they sought to fuse humour together with a subject as touch as religion.
Facts:
Speaking in an
interview on the AM Pluzz show along with Kofi Kinaata yesterday, Donzy
believes that God listened to their prayers.
Kofi Kinaata who
is best known for hilarious yet thought provoking punch lines in his raps
disclosed that being a pastor’s son always influences his song writing.
He says he
always ensures that there are no profanities in his lyrics.
He added that
the success of their song “Crusade” demands an immediate release an
extraordinary video, hence they feel pressure.
