A
date has finally been set for controversial radio presenter Blakk Rasta
to appear before the Privileges Committee of Parliament for some comments he
made that suggested “80% of Ghanaian parliamentarians smoke marijuana”.
In
a letter signed by Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, Principal Assistant #Clerk, #BlakkRasta is expected to appear as a witness before the committee on Thursday, June
25 to assist in the #investigation of contemptuous remarks allegedly made on his
show.
Last
week the ‘Serwaa Akoto’ singer told Pluzz #Entertainment Bulletin that he is not
at all shaken by the #summons to appear before #parliament.
Blakk
Rasta says he sees it as a perfect opportunity to educate the members of
parliament on the advantages of #marijuana and why it is necessary to #legalize it
in #Ghana.
