#HaveUheard American's applauds Lupita Nyong'o?



Kenyan Lupita Nyong’o  has made Africans proud for breaking into the American entertainment industry. She has been praised  by Black social media users for her quote she made in the vogue fashion magazine. Her statement's  landed on the publication’s cover and has caused many all over the world  to see it as a welcome change in the industry.

This comes after Vogue magazine put the Oscar award winner on its next month issue’s cover.According to online publication, her comments in the magazine reads,“I want to create opportunities for people of color" she said.

According to CNN, Lupita Nyong’o went back to her roots for Vogue’s October cover. The Oscar-winning actress celebrated her background by inviting the fashion magazine to her family home and farm in Kenya.
The photographs, shot by Mario Testino, show Nyong’o dancing with fellow Luo women in western Kenya and walking through Lake Victoria’s Dunga Beach, writes CNN.
