Ghanaian gospel musician, Nicholas Omane Acheampong has threatened to
sue highlife artiste, K.K. Fosu for alleging that 99 percent of Ghanaian musicians
smoke #marijuana.
The Tabita Kum hit-maker said the claim by the #highlife artiste is an insult and indictment on gospel musicians in the country.
KK Fosu who recently released his latest single
which features #Samini in an interview said everyone in the music industry takes
marijuana.
“I’ve never set my eyes on cocaine before. Way back when you talk about marijuana… Marijuana fine, everybody takes.I will say that 99% of Ghanaian musicians [have] used it [before], but for cocaine I don’t know and I’ve never set my eyes on it before,” KK Fosu noted.
But Nicholas Omane Acheampong in a recent radio interview expressed shock at the comments by KK Fosu. He indicated that he has never smoked marijuana and it's therefore unfortunate for KK Fosu to make a generalized statement.
The Zaphanat Paneah hit-singer challenged KK Fosu to prove his allegation or risk facing a class action in court.
