MY MOTHER DOES NOT SUPPORT THE NPP IN TARKWA NSUAEM.
I wish to express my serious concern about recent pictures being circulated by the New Patriotic Party's parliamentary candidate for Tarkwa Nsuaem in which my mother, who was coerced to wear an NPP T-shirt, is being shown.
I find this campaign tactic by my opponent not only repugnant but totally dishonorable for an individual who wishes to represent Ghanaians in truth.
The facts are as follows:
1. My mother is a Queen Mother in the constituency and therefore a traditional leader who is non-partisan.
2. I learnt from my mother that she was coerced to wear the T-shirt. She made it clear that she could not do so because of her traditional status. But the NPP Candidate begged her to wear it as a sign of good will . As soon as she wore it, pictures were taken and now being circulated against her will and reputation.
3. My mother supports my candidature as any good mother would do. Any attempt to create the impression that she supports the NPP is false, malicious and unethical.
4.if meriku Duker wants to increase his votes he should go and convince his own mother to Stop Jehovah witness so that she can vote.
I wish to call on the discerning people of Tarkwa Nsuaem to disregard the falsehood and dirty politicking by my opponent. We must all stay focused on the target of developing Tarkwa Nsuaem for the people who live in that constituency. This is why we must eschew every mischief being used to confuse the voter.
The people of Tarkwa Nsuaem will not be diverted from supporting the agenda of Changing Lives and Transforming mother Ghana.
Long Live Tarkwa Nsuaem!
Long Live Ghana.
