Wednesday on the
AMPluzz morning show, Radio and television personality Root Eye has challenged
Mr. Logic and anyone who claims they were the originators of Dancehall to prove
it.
Reacting to Root
Eye’s claims, Mr. Logic says he is disappointed in the ‘Heaviest Rain’ singer’s
assertions.
Facts:
According to
him, he still considers Root Eye as an underground artiste.
He disclosed
that Root Eye was only featured on one of Reggie Rockstone’s singles and
therefore has no right to claim he is the originator of the Dancehall genre.
Mr. Logic
insists that it was his determination to make Ghanaians accept Dancehall that
produced artiste including Jupiter, Episode, Shatta Wale and others.
