Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has been named as one of Africa's 'top 50 trailblazers' by The Africa Report magazine.
The Paris-based magazine described the
celebrities included in the list as "pioneers who will lead us to the
Africa of tomorrow.
Facts:
Yvonne Nelson was chosen based on her selfless dedication to the #DumsorMustStop vigil.
Other stars who were acknowledged in the magazine
include Ivorian footballer Didier
Drogba, South African politician, Julius Malema and Nigeria's richest man, Aliko Dangote.
The other two Ghanaians in the top-50 are writer/filmmaker, Nana Oforiatta-Ayim and Preacher and motivational speaker, Mensa Otabil.
